Our Wedding

This was the date Amrita and Anthony met for the first time. He picked the location and she picked the time. He nervously held the door open and she ordered the iced lattes. Later that night she remembers telling her friend about him. He remembers waiting till the next day to text her. They had no idea what would come from their first meeting, but they knew they'd see each other again. When the date ended one of them asked, "when can we hang-out again?" and they've continued to ask that question everyday since.On a random day in January she realized he had become her best friend. On a specific day in February, he told her he loved her. She remembers the song that played on the radio when he said it. He remembers practicing the words over and over in his head.Over-time this love grew and rooted itself into their lives. Never loud, but a peaceful recognition of the same soul in two bodies. That the missing parts of themselves existed in the other.In August of 2025, he asked her to marry him at the same location they shared that first date. This made sense to her, because this was the place she had met her husband.
